Cáritas will build one of its largest Spanish centres in Lanzarote, according to Caya Suárez of Cáritas Canarias.
Cáritas is an international Catholic charity that fights against poverty, exclusion. Accordinmg to Suárez, in an interview on Lancelot TV, the new cerntre in Alta vista, Arrecife, will have a day centre, an old-peoples residence, beds gfor the homeless and accommodation for vulnerable families.
The centre will measure 7,000 square metres and will also have a laundry, a dining area and a food and clothing bank.
