A drunk driver crashed into various parked cars in Costa Teguise yesterday, leaving a pedestrian injured.
The incident occurred at around 7pm on the Avenida Islas Canarias, when a car collided with several parked vehicles, shunting one onto the pavement where it hit a 50-year-old woman.
The woman and the 36-year-old driver, who is reported to have tested positive for alcohol, were both taken to the Dr. José Molina Orosa Hospital for treatment.
