Bus sets on fire in Playa Blanca

A bus completely burnt out after catching fire yesterday in Playa Blanca.

The incident took place just after 3 pm on the Avenida de Papagayo when the driver of a bus owned by Canary Shuttle, used for ferrying tourists to and from the airport, realised something was wrong.

After parking the bus, it burned out completely, producing a large column of black smoke and loud explosions. Fortunately, no one was hurt but cars that were parked near the bus were also damaged.
