A fire was extinguished in a palm tree on Calle Chalana, Puerto del Carmen, on Saturday night.
Firemen arrived to find two citizens trying to put the fire out with buckets of water. The blaze was then extinguished with fire hoses and firemen used a hydraulic lift, cutting six branches from the tree in order to fully extinguish the blaze.
No further damage was caused by the fire.
