An 18-year-old British tourist has died after falling from a hotel balcony.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at the Galeón Playa hotel in Costa Teguise, and police have stated they believe the fall was accidental.
Emergency services were contacted, and a medicalised ambulance rushed the victim, who was in a critical condition, to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife. However, he died later in the afternoon.
