British woman injured after falling 7 metres from a property in Puerto del Carmen

A 32-year-old British woman was injured after falling from a height of about 7 metres from the terrace of a property in Puerto del Carmen on Sunday night.

The incident occurred at around 11:54 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, on Calle Princesa Guayarmina.

Officers from the Local Police and Guardia Civil, along with Civil Protection and the Emergency Consortium, attended the scene.

The woman had sustained various injuries and was stabilised by medical personnel before being transferred to an ambulance with the assistance of the emergency services.

The rescue operation presented an additional challenge, as the teams had to navigate around a wall approximately 2 metres high on the terrace of the adjacent house.

The woman was ultimately transported by ambulance to the Dr. José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife.
