Those who have received both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine must wait at least five months to receive the booster while those who have received both doses of the AstraZeneca or Janssen vaccine must wait at least three months.

In case you have tested positive for Covid-19 after receiving both doses of your vaccine, the waiting time between diagnosis and the administration of the booster must be at least four weeks.

Vaccination by appointment

Those that meet the criteria can make an appointment for the booster only through the SCS miCitaPrevia mobile application, or through the website. Currently, the 012 number is prioritised for those aged 40 and older.

Vaccination without appointment

There will only be a limited number of daily booster jabs available for those that come without an appointment.

If you have any questions regarding the booster, the majority of health centres in Lanzarote will have Spanish speaking staff and at least one member who can speak enough English to coordinate your booster appointment.
