Boat runs aground near Guatiza

A 13-metre sailing boat ran aground at Los Cocoteros, near Guatiza, last night.

The boat ran ashore at around 3.30 am, and the two crew members managed to find their way ashore without Assistance.

Emergency services and the owners of the boat are assessing what to do next after being informed that the boat was carrying diesel fuel.
