Blackout in Playa Blanca

Playa Blanca was left in darkness after a suffering a power cut last night.

A technical problem at the Endesa/Unelco installations plunged the resort into darkness at approximately 8:50pm, with service resuming in parts of the resort at around 9.20pm while other parts had to wait a little longer.

Despite the inconvenience, many residents commented on the beauty of the clear night skies revealed by the power outage.
