Tías Ayuntamiento has approved an urban mobility plan which will see improvements to pavements, roads, and cycle paths, with a budget of 16 million euros.
Works involved in the project include the widening of pavements in areas like the LZ35 road from Tías to La Candelaria, better bus connections, park-and-ride lots in Tías and Puerto del Carmen, and much more.
A cycle lane is also planned for the centre of Tías but will not eliminate existing parking spaces.
