Arrieta wind toy to return soon

Cabildo Vice President, Jacobo Medina, has announced that the Arrieta roundabout wind toy has been repaired and will be reinstalled soon.

Medina describes this as “great news for the citizens of Lanzarote”. “It is a pride, for all Lanzaroteños, to have the wind toys cared for and repaired, as we demonstrated with ‘Fobos’ and we will continue to do with the rest of the toys” and assured that “the legacy left to us by César Manrique is put in value”.

Additionally, Medina also thanked the “work of the staff of the Parque Móvil del Cabildo de Lanzarote, who with their effort, dedication and care have repaired the toy in the time we had pre-established”.
