The National Police have arrested three people that they believe to be the perpetrators of robbery with force and criminal damage in Arrecife.
At the end of last month, one of Arrecife Ayuntamiento’s cleaning staff reported a smoking car to the National Police. Upon arrival, they alerted the emergency services to send fire fighters to the scene to extinguish the fire.
After this an investigation was launched by the National Police who located the owner of the damaged vehicle. After being brought to the police station the vehicle owner revealed that an electric scooter was in the car and believed that they could identify the possible perpetrators of the theft and fire.
In their statement to the police, the victim acknowledged that they owed debt to the alleged perpetrators that was the result of the purchase of narcotic substances.
The National Police located the alleged perpetrators, two men and a woman of the ages 44, 40 and 30 years old. All three were placed under arrest on August 27th.
