The Mayor of Arrecife has officially announced the city’s welcome to the Christmas season with a special switch-on event this Friday, November 21.
Residents and visitors are invited to bring their whole family to attend the lighting of the Christmas lights, which will be preceded by a parade and show. The event has been organised by the Arrecife Ayuntamiento.
The celebrations will begin in the Cuatro Esquinas area. From there, a festive parade will journey through the Calle Real shopping district, culminating at La Plazuela. The official switch-on of the Christmas lights is scheduled for approximately 7:00 pm at this final location.
“I invite you and your whole family to join us for the lighting of the Christmas lights,” said the Mayor in the announcement. “Arrecife is transforming into the city of Christmas.”
Arrecife Ayuntamiento encourages everyone to attend and enjoy the event, marking the official start of the festive period in the city.
