The Arrecife Ayuntamiento have organised a new gastronomic experience titled “Cuéntame un queso”, Tell me about cheese, in which participants will try local cheeses and learn about them.

At 8pm on Friday, August 26th, the Centro Cívico in Arrecife will host the Ayuntamiento’s new gastronomic experience. “Cuéntame un queso”, Tell me about cheese, where participants Will try local cheeses and learn about them through storytelling.
The experience is aimed at adults and consists of a storytelling session paired with local cheeses that are all Km0, a consumer trend which encourages production and purchase of local products whose origin is less than 100 kilometres from the point of distribution or consumption.
The Arrecife Ayuntamiento’s Culture Councillor, Abigail González, encourages “all those interested in literature and gastronomy, or who are simply curious to enjoy a unique experience.”.
The event will be led by Lanzarote storyteller Isabel Cabrera, who says that “behind every cheese there are many stories worth telling.”.
