It looks as though inclusive fair days are becoming a common thing on Lanzarote, which is fantastic news. Most of the fairs this year have included an inclusive day or inclusive evening in which the lights and music are lowered to accommodate those on the spectrum who find it difficult to concentrate with too many distractions or loud noises.

In this case, the Arrecife Ayuntamiento and Las Palmas Association of Fairgrounds have agreed that today from the hours of 5pm to 8pm the music will be cut, and lighting will be dimmed.

Additionally on the final days of the fair, on Tuesday the 23rd and Sunday 28th – the prices of the rides will be 1 euro for children and 2 euros for adults, there will also be free tickets for children from vulnerable families.

The Mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, expresses her gratitude that “the whole of the Fairgrounds Association and its President, Antonio Santana, have shown support to carry out this initiative.”.
