Arrecife has already seen the gigantic Sky Princess, luxurious Mv Seabourn Sojour and mega yacht World Traveller arrive at the port this week.

Today the MS Spitsbergen, a ship specialised in Arctic circuits, is scheduled to stopover. On Friday the Norwegian Dawn, AidaPerla and Mein Schiff 1 will arrive with the German ship staying overnight.

On Sunday the sailing cruise ship “Sea Cloud” will arrive at the port from Agadir before setting off for Gran Canaria.

Next Monday, October 31st, the Spirit of Discovery will arrive on Lanzarote after a three-day voyage from Barcelona.

Arrecife Ayuntamiento, through the Tourism and Commerce department, under the direction of Eli Merino, has been implementing a plan to relaunch the commercial area of Arrecife as the epicenter of shopping and leisure for both residents and tourists. Coinciding with the arrival of cruise ships, the plan will be enhanced by musical performances by folk groups around Calle Real and surrounding areas.
