Arrecife Ayuntamiento are currently carrying out an extensive clean up project across all neighbourhoods “to keep the municipality clean.”.
Through the “Arrecife Camin@ 2022” employment program, the Ayuntamiento have hired an additional 54 people to help maintain the municipality.
Arrecife Mayor, Yonathan de León Machín, emphasises that “one of the main objectives of the Ayuntamiento is to improve the cleanliness throughout Arrecife, so we have increased the number of workers allocated to this service.”
Councillor, Jacobo Lemes, added that “after acting in Valterra, Los Alonso, El Lomo and Argana Baja, the cleaning staff now move onto Argana Alta.”.
Arrecife Ayuntamiento also remind citizens to be mindful and that keeping the municipality clean is essential and requires cooperation.
