Normal service is being resumed at Lanzarote’s César Manrique Airport after the global outage of Microsoft Windows systems yesterday.
Spain’s airport authority, AENA, stated that “all airports are operational” but may be operating more slowly than usual.
Minor delays that did not exceed two hours were reported at Lanzarote’s airport yesterday, where the main problems stemmed from the carpark entry system, online check-ins and issue of boarding passes.
Normal service resumed later, although AENA say that the incident could still cause “minor delays”.
