Ademal Lanzarote have published a notice about an abandoned puppy that was found tied to a rock near the Jameos del Agua.
The association posted to Facebook:
“Last Monday, 20 May, someone walking in the Jameos del Agua area saw a puppy in the middle of nowhere, tied to a rock and in a very bad condition.
He was completely dehydrated as no food or water had been left for him.
He could have died of thirst.
The animal was limping and complaining of pain, and it was later discovered that his hip was broken.
He is also not registered.
The photo of the animal is published, and several people say that they recognise it with absolute certainty, as they have seen it around La Graciosa.
They also say that on the afternoon of SATURDAY the 18th, a dog with the same characteristics made the boat trip from La Graciosa to Orzola.
SEPRONA has already received several tips about the perpetrator or perpetrators of this crime.
ADEMAL has already filed a complaint and is asking the authorities to also check the surveillance cameras of the boats that made the journeys and those of the two moorings, La Graciosa and Orzola.
