77-year-old injured after his van flipped on a country road

A 77-year-old man was injured after his van flipped on a country road near La Vegueta yesterday.

Emergency services responded at midday, and on arriving at the scene had to free the driver, who was trapped in the van.

He was checked up by paramedics and taken to the Dr José Molina OrosaHospital with “moderate” injuries.
