65-year-old rescued from swimming pool in Costa Teguise Hotel

A 65-year-old man is in a “serious” condition after being rescued from a swimming pool in a Costa Teguise hotel.

The man was discovered floating unconscious in the pool art around 11.30 am.  A lifesaver at the hotel attempted to resuscitate him until a Canarian Emergency Services ambulance arrived. Paramedics finally managed to re-establish the man’s pulse.

The man was then taken to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital in a “serious” state.
