A 60-year-old cyclist who fell off her bike in La Graciosa was evacuated to hospital in an emergency helicopter yesterday.
The woman took a tumble near the tiny hamlet of Pedro Barba on the east coast of the island. When firemen arrived and realised the zone was difficult to access, they called in the helicopter.
The woman is reported to have suffered multiple non-serious bruises.
