A 50-year-old hang glider pilot was rescued after crashing near the roundabout to Puerto Calero yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the area after being alerted at 11.26am. Firemen managed to bring the victim to paramedics, who established that he suffered moderate injuries.
The man was then taken to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital for treatment.
