A 47-year-old man died this morning after his car left the LZ-2 main road in the municipality of Tías.
Emergency services arrived on the scene after being alerted at 1.15 am, to find the car had rolled over several times and ended up 30 metres from the road.
The driver had been thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Firemen and police searched the area to ascertain if there more victims, then cleaned up the area and waited for an undertaker to take charge of the body.
