If you’re staying on Lanzarote this Christmas and are looking for a fun, unique and challenging activity in Puerto del Carmen… Then look no further than Crazy Minigolf Lanzarote – the only 18-hole minigolf course on the island.

It’s that time again, the schools will soon break up for Christmas and families across the world will hop on a plane to lovely Lanzarote for their festive break. If you’ve stayed in Puerto del Carmen before then you probably already know most of the attractions, however, this one is quite different.

The Crazy Minigolf Lanzarote offers something that the other courses on the island don’t – it’s indoors. Lanzarote is a hot and windy island but that doesn’t matter, the indoor course provides protection from the elements while also allowing for plenty of natural sunlight to flood the room, making for a bright and lively space.

The course is great for children and adults alike, providing a challenging experience for all ages and levels of experience.

Inside you’ll find a neon paradise with LED-lit holes, glow in the dark painted walls and a fully stocked bar serving a selection of ice-cold beers (on tap and bottled), spirits, slushies, and soft drinks.

The image above shows another one of Crazy Minigolf Lanzarote’s unique features – its panoramic views of Puerto del Carmen’s stunning sea front. Can you think of anything better than putting with a few of a gorgeous blue sea?

Each hole has been custom built and comes with challenges that progressively become harder as you make your way through the course.

Because the course has been built with all ages in mind, the holes are deceptively tricky, with obstacles such as ramps, loops, traffic cones and a one-shot pinball hole that could turn the game on its head with its chance of winning double points from one hole.

And better yet, the course is open all day from 10am until 11:30pm… and when the lights go down its neon painted walls & neon-lit ceiling come alive, transforming the course into a completely new experience. Perfect for a second round, hey?

Having tried it ourselves recently, the team at the Gazette can only agree with everyone else! It’s a fantastic time and definitely a must-visit.

Crazy Minigolf Lanzarote is located in the La Peñita Shopping Centre at 19-21 Avenida de las Playas 57, Puerto del Carmen, upstairs next to the Music Hall Tavern. For directions, click here.

The course is open every day of the week from 10am until 11:30pm, and a round of golf costs €8 for adults, €6 for children 12 and under.
