Hiker rescued at Las Grietas

Firemen rescued a woman who had fallen and injured her knee at Las Grietas yesterday.

The incident occurred at around 2 pm on Sunday afternoon and was attended by firemen, paramedics and local police agents.

After the woman’s injury had been evaluated, her leg was immobilised and she was evacuated on a stretcher to a rescue vehicle, before being taken to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife.
