Man taken to hospital from abandoned hotel in Costa Teguise

A man was taken to the hospital in Arrecife after suffering a medical issue inside one of the abandoned hotels in Costa Teguise yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 2pm, the emergency services were called to one of the abandoned hotels in Costa Teguise after reports that someone inside was suffering a medical issue.

Upon arrival at the abandoned hotel on the Avenida del Mar, medical personnel and fire fighters located the man inside about 200 metres from the road and ambulance.

Medical personnel moved him via a stretcher to the ambulance and he was then taken to the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife for further treatment.

The nature of his medical issue was not stated in the report.
