A 53-year-old man was admitted to hospital in a critical state after falling into a swimming pool in Puerto del Carmen yesterday evening.
Emergency services were called to a tourist complex on Calle Mato at 6.31 pm on Tuesday, where a man had suffered heart failure after suffering a fall in the pool.
The lifesaver on duty was carrying out artificial resuscitation when paramedics from the Canarian emergency Services arrived and transferred the victim to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife.
