Teenager in serious condition after being hit by car

A 14-year-old boy is in serious condition after being hit by a car on the road to San Bartolomé over the weekend.

The emergency services were alerted to the incident and quickly arrived at the scene to assess the 14-year-old who had suffered serious injuries.

Once stabilised, he was transported to an ambulance and rushed to the Dr José Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife.

It was announced this afternoon that the 14-year-old tragically passed away at the Dr Jose Molina Orosa hospital in Arrecife.
