A van left the LZ-2 main road, falling several metres down a slope.
The incident was reported at 6.30 pm yesterday and occurred on the LZ-2 near La Hoya and Las Salinas de Janubio, in Yaiza.
Paramedics attended to the driver, who had been injured in the accident, while firemen secured the vehicle.
