Pedro Sánchez has chosen Lanzarote as his holiday destination once again as he stays at the famous La Mareta Royal Residence in Costa Teguise.
Sánchez arrived in the early hours of Monday morning to spend some time on the island with his family.
He has holidayed on Lanzarote four times previously, showing a fondness for the island that is shared by his predecessor and Spain’s previous socialist president, José Luís Rodríguez Zapatero, who holidayed regularly on Lanzarote and has since purchased a property in Famara.
Before arriving in Lanzarote, Sánchez spent a few days in Marrakech. According to Morrocan media outlets, he and his family visited some sights in the city before returning to Madrid.
