This Monday the emergency services were alerted to a rockslide at Papagayo Beach which saw large chunks of rock fall.
The emergency services were deployed to create a perimeter and search for any beachgoers who may have been buried by the falling rock.
Firefighters set up a perimeter as other members began breaking up the fallen rock to free anyone who may have been trapped underneath.
Luckily, the emergency services found that no one had been struck by the rock.
