The Cabildo has announced that €600,000 will be spent to improve mobility in the Argana commercial area, near the island’s hospital.
“This work, which involves eliminating a reservation on the road, will help to reduce the queues that we have suffered for years on the road that connects Arrecife with San Bartolomé,” said Jacobo Medina, Councillor for Public Works.
A small adjustment will be made over the next few dayds, followed by a larger project stretching from the Circumvalación (ring road) to the hospital. Medina has said it will involve the creation of an acceleration lane.
