A 13-year-old boy was rushed to hospital on Friday evening after nearly drowning in a swimming pool in apartments in Puerto del Carmen.
Emergency services received a call at 8.15 pm, and paramedics from the Canarian Emergency Service arrived in a medicalised ambulance, immediately stabilising the boy.
He was then rushed to the Dr José Molina Orosa Hospital where he was reported to be in a “serious condition”.
