According to Spain’s Meteorological Agency (AEMET), Lanzarote looks set for an increase in temperatures today and tomorrow with highs of 30+ degrees Celsius.
AEMET forecast that from this afternoon, Tuesday March 28th, Lanzarote will see temperatures rise to the low 30s. The temperatures could rise to 34-35 degrees Celsius tomorrow, Wednesday March 29th, and the day after, Thursday March 30th.
The wind is expected to kick up a fuss as well, as we come to expect on Lanzarote (commonly referred to as the windy island.) You can expect windspeeds of up to 40km/h in the afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to drop back down to the mid-to-high 20s from Friday, March 31st, with the calima forecast to subside for the weekend also.
