The President of Lanzarote’s Cabildo , María Dolores Corujo, has flown to Ireland to collect the Irish Travel Agents’ Association’s award for Best Winter Destination.
She thanked the association’s members, describing the Irish tourist market as as “one of Lanzarote’s most faithful.”
Hector Fernández, head of Overseas Promotions at the Cabildo, pointed out that Lanzarote had won the award ahead of challengers such as Gran Canaria, Tenerife, New York and Dubai”.
Lanzarote has won several awards from the ITAA previously.
