The Salvamento Maritimo find three men sitting on the rudder of an oil tanker on it’s way from Nigeria to Gran Canaria.

The three men have been hospitalised due to dehydration after surviving eleven days sitting on the rudder of an oil tanker just a few feet above the water.
They were rescued by Salvamento Maritimo on Tuesday after being spotted on the oil tanker’s rudder. The men were provided with initial medial care at a port in Gran Canaria and were later taken to hospital.
The tanker left Lagos on November 17th according to various tracking websites.
