The Cabildo, through the CACT, has put out to tender the supply of two new hybrid buses for the Timanfaya tours.

The CACT are looking to reinforce their Timanfaya bus fleet with the goal of increasing, improving, and modernising the service offered.

Cabildo President, María Dolores Corujo, stated that “these two vehicles not only increase the capacity to receive visitors to the National Park, but are also in line with the sustainable policies promoted by the Institution as they are hybrids, more efficient and environmentally friendly than the older buses in the fleet.”.

CACT CEO, Benjamín Perdomo, explained that, thanks to the savings from the tender for the first six new buses, it is possible to tender for the purchase of two new ones, which will result in a total of eight in the fleet.

Interested parties have until November 14th to submit their bids.
