Zabriskie Point – December 14th

An epic portrait of late Sixties America, as seen through the portrayal of two of its children: anthropology student Daria (who’s helping a property developer build a village in the Los Angeles desert) and dropout Mark (who’s wanted by the authorities for allegedly killing a policeman during a student riot).

Medusa Deluxe – December 20th & 21st

Talented and cutthroat hairstylists at a competition find one of their own murdered before judging can begin. Winding through neon-lit halls, competitors unspool long-simmering resentments and lies as they search for the killer among them.

Blade Runner – December 28th

In the smog-choked dystopian Los Angeles of 2019, blade runner Rick Deckard is called out of retirement to terminate a quartet of replicants who have escaped to Earth seeking their creator for a way to extend their short life spans.

The film will be shown in original English at the cinema in Arrecife at 7pm. Entry free (with priority to those under 35 years of age) with no prior registration required.

Planeta alegría – December 16th

“Planeta Alegría” is a wonderful musical show designed for the whole family that highlights the importance of multiculturalism, solidarity, sustainability and the protection of our planet. It is an enriching musical experience that entertains, educates and, above all, inspires.

Arube – December 16th

Arube is emotion, it is electronic and it is pop. This trio of Canarian artists is made up of Alba Gil, Belén Álvarez and Xerach Peñate. Three musicians who converge in this project after years of building their careers separately, united to create a heartbreaking space for artistic expression.

Conciertos de Navidad – December 18th, 19th & 20th

The Centro Insular de Enseñanzas Musicales presents its renowned and traditional Christmas Concerts: an exciting annual show that requires organization, preparation and sensitivity. For three intense days we will be able to enjoy the result of the work carried out in the first quarter of the school year, counting on the participation of almost all of the students who study music at the center.
