The summer winds are predicted to pick up on Lanzarote tomorrow as AEMET issues a yellow alert for strong winds.
The alert extends from 3 am on the morning of Monday, June 29th to midnight, and the winds are expected to be at their strongest in the evening and night.
North-eastern winds bringing gusts of up to 70 kph could be experienced, mainly affecting the southern half of the island.
The wind is forecast to calm down on Tuesday, and the island will continue to have fine, hot weather, with temperatures largely unchanged.
