The Mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda has delcared a day of mourning today, for the recent death of the Mayor of San Bartolomé Alexis Tejera.

All scheduled public events are suspended today, and all flags on municipal buildings will be at half mast.
On behalf of the Yaiza Ayuntamiento, Óscar Noda expressed his deep consolences to the family of Tejera, close friends and fellow party members in San Bartolomé.
Among the suspended events, the APUSAS presentation will now be moved to Monday, 22nd of November at 7pm at Molino de Yaiza.
