U.D. Lanzarote will welcome supporters, families and young football fans to its 12th annual Open Beach Training Session at Playa Las Cucharas in Costa Teguise on Tuesday 18th August.
U.D. Lanzarote’s first team squad will take part in the open training session from 6.30pm on Las Cucharas beach, opposite Flintstones Bar.
Fans, friends and youngsters are invited to watch the session or join the players for a gentle 15–20-minute jog along the promenade or beach.
Boys and girls are welcome to take part. Children who find the route too demanding can wait until the players return along the same route.
The club said this will be the 12th Open Beach Training Session, with everyone welcome to attend with family and friends.
The event is intended to be an enjoyable day for those taking part, including the players, management and directors.
For those travelling from Puerto del Carmen, the number 3 bus runs back and forth every 20 minutes, with the journey taking around 40 minutes.
Passengers should get off at the bus stop outside Lanzarote Gardens, then head down to the promenade and walk right until they reach The Flintstones Bar.
