Three people were injured in a car accident on the LZ-40 road to Puerto del Carmen on Friday night.
The incident was reported at 11.18pm, and when emergency services arrived at the location, near the Rancho Texas turn-off, firefighters had to to free a woman from one of the two vehicles involved before she was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
The other two occupants of the cars had managed to escape and were treated at the scene by health service professionals.
It is the second collision in a week on the LZ-40, after five people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash last Saturday.
