Teguise Ayuntamiento has officially presented the programme for the 14th edition of Noche Blanca, which will take place on Friday, 26th June, under the slogan “Show Yourself, Let Yourself Go.”
The popular annual event will once again transform the historic centre of La Villa de Teguise into a large open-air cultural venue, with activities running from 4:00pm until after midnight.
Culture, Music and Entertainment Across the Historic Centre
Streets, plazas, historic buildings and landmark sites throughout the old town will host a diverse programme aimed at all ages, featuring live music, performing arts, gastronomy, exhibitions, children’s activities and interactive experiences.
Main Performances
Plaza de Los Leones will serve as one of the evening’s principal venues, hosting:
- Sueños que Cobran Vida by the Teguise Musical Youth
- The visual show Mascarada
- A roaming parade by Los Cumbacheros
- A headline concert by Cristina Ramos with From Opera to Rock
- A major tribute to Puerto Rican singer Olga Tañón
Traditional Canarian music will feature prominently around El Hoyo and La Tahona, with performances by Parranda La Aldaba, Gurfines Son del Puerto, Pal Porrón and Dani Valiente.
Meanwhile, Plaza Clavijo y Fajardo will welcome Defecto Venturi, Kilombo Improvisado, Arpegio and Los Lola.
Heritage and Gastronomy
Visitors will be able to experience traditional gofio-making demonstrations at the Molino de Teguise, including tastings accompanied by live acoustic music.
The Casa Museo del Timple will become a gastronomic hub offering local food and wine pairings, a concert by timple player Alexis Lemes, and a video-mapping projection on the building’s façade.
The Municipal School of Music will also host performances by the Adult Band and a student Clarinet Quartet.
Family and Youth Activities
Plaza Maciot de Bethencourt will be transformed into “La Plaza de los Sueños,” featuring workshops, storybook characters, attractions, virtual reality experiences and the children’s musical Moraleja.
For younger audiences, La Mareta Joven will offer creative workshops, immersive activities, street performances and DJ sessions.
Fashion, Art and Theatre
The Ángel Guerra House of Culture will host fashion shows by local designers and brands, including a special appearance by renowned designer José Perea, alongside the contemporary dance production Vidas y Vueltas by Siscu Ruz.
One of the night’s most anticipated attractions, “La Noche Negra: Los Piratas,” returns to Santa Bárbara Castle, where visitors can enjoy an immersive theatrical experience inspired by pirate legends through multiple performances during the evening.
Open-Air Celebration
The programme will also feature photography and art exhibitions, electronic music sessions, international cuisine and social gathering spaces throughout the town.
The Town Hall is encouraging both residents and visitors to dress in white and join a celebration that once again turns the historic heart of Teguise into a showcase for culture, heritage, creativity and community spirit.
