Teguise Ayuntamiento will hold the 2nd (RE)CREAT “For Life” Charity Run on September 11th. The race aims to raise awareness and promote suicide prevention.
The event will begin at 7:30pm in the Playa Bastián parking lot in Costa Teguise and will feature different categories to encourage participation by people of all ages: a 5-kilometer run, a solidarity mile, and a 200-meter children’s race.
The proceeds will go to the Mutual Aid Group for Those Affected by Suicide (GAMAS), an organisation that does important work providing guidance and support to those affected and their families.
Registration is now open at www.tripasioneventos.com, both for those wishing to participate in any of the events and for those who would like to volunteer to help organise the event.
