Teguise Ayuntamiento have announced a new advertising campaign promoting Teguise at the César Manrique airport and on the island’s buses.
The new advertising campaign includes multilingual posts of Teguise on several screens at the Lanzarote airport in both terminals for a year. Additionally, Teguise will also be promoted on the island’s buses, specifically the line that connects Arrecife with Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca and the line that goes from Costa Teguise to Puerto del Carmen.
The posters will be modified depending on the time of year or during different island events, currently the posters are themed for carnival, showing the Teguise Diabletes.
Teguise’s tourism councillor, Rita Hernandez, stated “our goal is that the tourist who comes to the island does not fail to visit Teguise and enjoy all the charm that we have, from our natural beauty, our culture and rich heritage, to gastronomy, and even to participating in our festivals.”.
Mayor of Teguise, Olivia Duque, stated “these types of promotional campaigns are very important to publicise the municipality of Teguise because there are many visitors who come to the island and practically do not leave the surroundings of their accommodation… with these new campaigns we encourage tourists to get to know Teguise.”.
In addition to the current advertising campaigns, Teguise Ayuntamiento will look to reinforce the message through other advertising campaigns in magazines, newspapers, posters, brochures, websites and social networks.
