The Villa de Teguise and the other villages in the municipality, including La Graciosa, officially turned on the lights for Christmas this Monday.

“We invite children and adults to enjoy the magic of this festive season and the lights that adorn the squares of the municipality”, stated the Mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, during the lights switch-on.

The Teguise Ayuntamiento have announced that they will unveil this year’s Christmas events programme on December 1st and 11:30am in the Casa-Museo del Timple. The events programme will kick off with the Teguise Fashion Christmas Market which will be held in the Plaza de Los Leones in Teguise with handmade products.

The programme is expected to have a whole host of activities promoting commerce, culture and includes family activities running until January 5th 2023.
