Road Closure in Puerto del Carmen to Remain Until Renovation Works Are Completed

The stretch of road in Puerto del Carmen leading from the roundabout near the Biosfera Shopping Centre and the petrol station on Calle Juan Carlos I will remain closed until renovation works are completed.

The Councillor for Urban Planning and Public Works, Ulpiano Calero, explains that vehicles wishing to access the old town and the Biosfera shopping centre area must detour via Calle Togio and Calle Guardilama until reaching the shopping centre’s roundabout, while the exit from Puerto del Carmen can be made via Calle Reina Sofía and Calle Salinas.

The works will cost €150,000, financed from council funds and no estimated date has been given for their termination.
