The new harbour at Playa Blanca will have two carparks with space for a total of 275 vehicles, it was revealed yesterday.
The larger carpark will be located near the main terminal for ferry passengers, and will have space for 190 vehicles. of these, 140 will be public parking spaces, 42 will be for hire cars, four will be for taxis, two for buses and there will be two spaces for quick drop-offs.
This parking area will have recharging facilities for up to four vehicles at a time, while the hire car area will have 19 recharging points.
A smaller parking area for 85 vehicles will be situated near the leisure port, and this will be the first to constructed.
