Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is expected to arrive in Lanzarote on Saturday, August 1st, to begin his annual summer holiday on the island.
Continuing a tradition established since taking office, Sánchez will stay at La Mareta, the official government residence in Teguise.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by his wife, Begoña Gómez, and is expected to remain on the island for several weeks.
Lanzarote has become Sánchez’s preferred destination for his summer break in recent years. During previous visits, he has been seen exploring the Haría Market. In 2023, he visited alongside adventurer Jesús Calleja and filmmaker Alejandro Amenábar. The following year, he returned with Begoña Gómez and Catalan regional president Salvador Illa.
